The focus of physical therapy is to maximize mobility enabling a child or adult to best move about his or her world. The goals of PT may include:

  • Improving postural control, righting reactions and equilibrium responses, and balance.
  • Improving gross motor milestone skills.
  • Providing assessments for adaptive equipment.
